Viral video can traverse the internet and reach audiences you thought were unreachable. A “viral” clip may be a direct-response video or a public service announcement – the difference lies more in the distribution strategy and the tone of the piece. Usually less than two minutes, viral clips are more edgy, even provocative, and are meant to be shared, passed along, discussed. Of course, no one can guarantee a clip will go viral, but we’ll create clips that have the potential to spread. Viral clips may involve new production (such as the “Man on the Street” where a host asks passers-by questions meant to bring out information), repurposing existing media (such as a “mashup”), or creating animation or graphics.
